Vedic Village Spa Resort Kolkata – Experiencing the Richness of Rural India

The flight journey was not a very tiring one. The taxi was waiting for us at the airport. Our hotel was not very far from the Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport and within 30 minutes we reached there. The hotel was undoubtedly having a luxurious architecture having all the state of the art features and unmatched comfort.

It is located at Rajarhat area of the city which is in the neighbourhood of Kolkata. Some of the famous attractions of the city lie in close proximity to Vedic Village Spa Resort Kolkata which includes Rameswara Waterview, Kalibari Temple and Khelhar Math. The interiors of the resort are superb and it is one of those places which can be visited to experience the richness and diversity of Rural India.

I had booked a Deluxe Villa at the resort which is built upon the natural lake of the resort. The lounge of the resort was very spacious and the bathroom was luxurious having all the basic amenities one requires. We decided to have a quick shower and then order some lunch from the in house restaurant of the Hotel.

The hotel impressed me a lot and I was certainly feeling very proud to have booked the hotel at reasonable rates online. The amazing fusion between modern amenities and ethnicity is the hallmark of the resort. The resort not only serves the leisure travellers like me but also host conference and seminars for the Corporate World. One can also avail Naturopathy and other Ayurvedic treatments at the Resort.

There are two in house restaurants at the hotel that are called as Yagna, a multi cuisine restaurant and Bhoomi which is specialises in Continental. The tea, coffee and beverage lovers can hang out at ‘Chai’ which is a cafe.  Agni, a lounge Bar is also there for those needing a relaxing experience and dinner.

The food served to us was very delicious and we were totally refreshed to begin our travel of the city. The first place which we decided to visit was Chintamoni Kar Bird Sanctuary, Kolkata. It was a trip on the request of my little one Sanvi.
