For the next few days, we researched a lot about cheap ways to visit Kerala. Eventually we stumbled upon onto a travel website that offered economical flight hotel deals for Kerala; and without much delay, we booked flight tickets for us three.

One beautiful morning, we started off our journey from Lohegaon, Pune (pnq) air-port. Without any hiccups, we had a smooth air-ride till our flight landed at Kempegowda International Airport, Bangalore (blr). Her first air-travel kept my daughter fuss-free throughout.

From Bangalore airport, our flight towards Thiruvanthapuram, Trivandrum (trv) took off and at last when we landed at Trv airport, we are much ready to hit the sack. But our cab ride to Kerala cheered us up.

Kerala- The True Abode of Gods

Our one week trip in Kerala did wonders to lift up our spirit and again made us aware about the great heritage of Southern India. From the dazzling durbar hall Kochi to the soul stirring ayurvedic plantation in Thekkady, from the adventurous eco trails of kottayam to the heavenly Vembanad lake- Kerala enticed me enough to move there post-retirement!

Post my Kerala-trip; I can feel that as a human being, I have evolved so much. It’s a godly state that has breath-taking combination of art, culture, nature and education. And I hope that this experience will make me much more versatile as a teacher and as a mother.
