On the last day of our Visakhapatnam trip we decided to visit a friend who is a resident of the Lawsons Bay Colony at Vizag- Visakhapatnam. Her kids are very good friends with Sanvi and she
jumped with joy on hearing the news. I had heard a lot about this colony from my friend. She never gets worn out of praising this locality and this made me even keener to take a trip to this
The locality is one of the posh societies of Visakhapatnam and was well connected to all parts of the city. We reached to our friend’s residence with no inconvenience. She was very happy to see us after quite a while and was waiting for us eagerly. We had a chat with each other while Sanvi and my friend’s two kids were playing with each other. Hereafter we planned to go for a movie. There are a number of movie theatres in the Lawns Bay Colony; a few of them are the Aruna theatre, Likitha, Srikanya Cinema, Maurya Cinema Hall and Inox.
I asked if there were equally delightful restaurants where we could hang out for dinner. I was surprised to discover that there are many restaurants like the Kamat Restaurant, Bunny’s Pizza café,
subway, New Srikanth and Kamath restaurant in the vicinity. We had a sumptuous dinner and were off to our hotel hereafter.
I found the Lawsons Bay Colony to be quite a comfortable and well planned and organized place to reside in. Apart from the eateries and theatres this colony has all the amenities like good schools, shopping outlets and malls etc.
The security arrangements are also very good and all visitors have to register themselves and show their identity on the entrance itself. I was finally satisfied that I had gathered as much information and memories about the city of Visakhapatnam as I could and this trip was a great success and a perfect learning experience for my daughter. Now all we had to do was to pack our bags and head to the station the next day.
