God, the amount of paraphernalia that one has to carry while travelling with kids! I was perplexed, where to devote my attention and where not? But little children are my life, not only the innumerable ones who are my students at the pre-school but also my one and only daughter Sanvi without whom I cannot imagine life at all. She is just 3 years old yet she has the capacity to make me lose my cool and also the capability to bring me great happiness. So, while on my second passion- travelling, I made sure I took all her necessities as far as her needs were concerned. My love to visit places has not dimmed since my younger days and I continue to fuel my passion through my selected journeys. My train travel from Pune to Vijayawada by Konark Express was one such journey that I would never forget.
The train left the station at about 7 in the evening, a very convenient time because we made sure that we had an early meal of sorts back at home before we made our way to board the train. A lot of stress was being laid on travelling light but just as I said; it proved to be quite a challenge with the favorite toys of Sanvi and her essentials. But as long as she was an inclusion in the trip to all the exciting places I would cover, I absolutely had no problem at all. It is not a very long journey from Pune Junction to Vijayawada Junction. By 2 pm next day I would have reached my destination, and also would have had ample time to get rest for the entire day until the next day.
My train travel from Pune to Vijayawada by Konark Express had been especially enjoyable because of my daughter. The sparkle in her eyes and her activity in the train kept me engaged and with her stories and nursery rhymes as company, I could not even comprehend when the travel time got over. I had booked us at the Ilapuram, Vijayawada and I was looking forward to the experience that waited for me there.
